Dr. Troy Counselman graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1995. In his 31 years of practice, he has owned and operated more than a dozen clinics and published multiple books and articles related to chiropractic practice.
Dr. Troy comes from a long line of chiropractors, including his father, uncle and cousin. He has trained in multiple techniques but prefers standard spinal manipulative treatment (SMT). He also completed advanced training in neurology and is board eligible in chiropractic neurology.
His approach aligns most closely with the chiropractic Reform Movement—a scientifically focused approach centered on practical, evidence-informed care without unnecessary complication.
Dr. Troy lives in Old Town Scottsdale and enjoys working out, cooking, and studying astrophysics and cosmology.
